Ein must have für jede Corgi Toys Sammlung. Einfach toll mit den ganzen Ausstattungsdetails. Die Lösung zur unbeschädigten Öffnung der Box ist genial.
Ich besitze auch noch das Original in einem unbeschädigten ungeöffneten Blister. Ich würde mich auch über eine Neuauflage des E-Typs 307 mit Hardtop oder des E-Type Competition 312 freuen. Diesen bekam ich als Kind einmal zum Geburtstag geschenkt.
Everything wrong with the gold-grille edition is also (unsurprisingly) wrong with this silver one so I won't repeat myself. It's bewildering why mass-market 'pocket money' toys for kids were better made than limited edition models for the adult collector, but it happens to be the case. File marks are all too apparent around the roof opening and under wheel arches, and the ejector seat (once ejected) sits far too low when the hatch is open to be able to fit the passenger back in easily. (See photos.) Also, the chassis arches around the rear wheels were lowered, but not the front ones, when both should be the same in each case. When it comes to models with working features, Corgi no longer seems to be on top of its game. I've received far too many imperfect models that should've been rejected before ever being sent, and I assume it's the same for other members as I surely can't be the only one. Pull your socks up, Corgi.
